A lil craft action

I started feeling a little bit crafty today. The only thing is I can only sit down in the floor working for so long before my ole back starts hurting. But I managed to make a cute Hair Bow Holder and 3 hair clips tonight. I know you're impressed. ha

Caroline painted these lovely letters for Miss Charlotte. I added some ribbon to make them into a stylish bow holder.

I'm starting to get a little (a lot) anxious about getting Charlotte's room together. Hopefully this weekend all the painting and flooring will be done and I can start putting all of her things in their places. Then I need to find a rug, some curtains, wall art for over her crib, a lamp, closet dividers, mobile, some baskets to hold diapers, lotions and stuff....She seriously cannot come early. ha

Our house is a mess. All of Charlotte's stuff is in the living room and our bedroom. We aren't going to put up our Christmas tree until we can get all of our mess picked up. I can't believe it's so close to Christmas! I haven't bought the first gift. I haven't even made a list of people I need to buy for and I have absolutely no gift ideas. Jacob isn't worried about Christmas, he says that Charlotte is gift enough for everyone. crazy. I need to figure out our Christmas cards too. We have done photo cards in the past but we haven't taken a good festive pic yet.

I've been in a bad mood most of the day. ugh. So after the doctor's appt me and Jacob napped until he had to go to work at 2:30. The highlight of my day was doing my crafty crafts:) But typing all this stuff that I need to get done is stressing me out again.

I got a text that my mom's step daughter was at Jackson General in labor with her 2nd child. BUT we just heard that she in fact wasn't in labor and they are sending her home. She is 3 cm and 75% effaced so she doesn't have much longer. I think she is 2 weeks from her due date. We are having a baby shower for her Saturday so hopefully so can hold the baby in until then;) I made the cutest diaper cake for her shower. I'm really excited about it. I'll post pics of it this weekend.

My co-workers had a shower for me and Charlotte Wednesday and it was fabulous. I was very surprised and grateful of all the fun things they got us. We got a lot of things that we will really need and things that are just plain cute:)

I have my last shower Sunday in Selmer with my Dad's family. It should be fun times too:)

I can't believe I'm only 6 weeks away. I must really look pregnant now because the other day somebody thought I only had 3 weeks left, a guy offered to give up his seat for me while we were waiting for a table at a restaurant, and it seems like everyone stares at my belly these days.

Maybe nobody is noticing this crazy acne on my face because my belly draws their eyes from my face:)
