How far along? 36 weeks and 3 days

Total weight gain/loss: a lot

How big is baby? My baby books says about 6 lbs. that seems heavy

Maternity clothes? yep, and some of them are too tight...

Sleep: hahaha

Best moment this week: We finished our Christmas shopping

Movement: yep and I'm pretty sure she has bruised a rib. ouch

Food cravings: No. But I'm hungry all the time.

Gender: Girl.

Labor Signs: no I don't think so. I've had some cramping and the Doc says it could be the BH contractions.

Belly Button in or out? still an innie but just barely

Stretchmarks? not on my stomach. It looks like I'm getting some on my thighs. weird. I'm so hot right now

How are you feeling? well...Good over all. No swelling or major problems so that's good. But I'm starting to get uncomfortable and my back hurts.

What I am looking forward to: finishing the nursery. We need to pick out a rug and curtains and then finish up a few decoration type stuff

What I miss: sleeping on my stomach

Milestones: less than one month to go!


I had my group b strep test at my 36 week appointment Thursday. That was really the only new thing that happened. They had me waiting around forever for my appointment and I'm usually in and out in about 15-20 mins. This last one took about an hour. They also checked for the baby's position. The doctor said he thought he felt the baby's head so she should be in the right position. He stopped before he made it through the cervix though because I said it hurt. He said my cervix was pushed back pretty far. Whatever that means. All I could think was man it I thought that hurt I'm gonna be in trouble at delivery time. When I go back Thursday (37 weeks) I'll try not to complain so he will be able to tell me more about the baby's position and all that jazz.

The doctor did tell me not to be too disappointed if I go past my due date because most 1st time moms do. Then before I left he said see yay next week unless you go into labor early. mixed signals. haha My dad seems to think I will have Charlotte before the end of the year and Jacob's Granny thinks I'll have her the 1st full moon in January (a few days after my due date). I'm thinking we should start a pool. ha I've added a poll to my blog page so you can vote for when you think she will come.

I really hope I get some energy soon and my nesting instinct kicks into high gear because I have a lot I need to get done around the house before she gets here.
